PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing cage and a method of manufacturing the reinforcing cage hardly causing the separation of an intersecting connection part between a reinforcement and an annular reinforcement by an earthquake or the like by easily and powerfully force-fitting a plurality of reinforcements to the outer periphery of the annular reinforcement different in material, and eliminating welding to eliminate lacking in the cross section of a main reinforcement and the deterioration of the main reinforcement. SOLUTION: The reinforcing cage is constructed by bringing the reinforcement 2 into contact with the outer surface of the annular reinforcement 1 in the direction of a centerline C of the reinforcement 1, fitting the inner surface 2' of circular arc shape of a U-shaped fitting 3 bent in almost the same curvature as the reinforcement 2 and formed of the same material as the reinforcement 1, into contact with the outer surface 2' of the reinforcement 2, welding (4) both ends 3a', 3b' of the U-shaped fitting 3 to the outer surface of the reinforcement 1, and clamping the reinforcement 2 by the inner surface 3' of a circular arc shape of the U-shaped fitting 3 and the outer surface 1' of the reinforcement 1.
