PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in cost by enabling a single member to be adapted to either of right and left hinged sides or either of upper and lower hinged sides. SOLUTION: A stopper member 4 is mounted on a casement window 1 with a sash 3 which is openably/closably attached to a frame body 2. The stopper member 4 comprises: an arm body 12, the upper end of which is swingably attached to the sash 3 and the lower end of which is provided with an engaging pin 17; a guide frame 30 which has a guide groove 33A attached to the frame body 2 so as to guide the engaging pin 17; and a slider 40 which is movably attached to the guide frame 30 so as to open/close an opening part P of one end of the guide groove 33A, and which makes openings Q1 and Q2 for introducing the engaging pin 17 formed on both the sides of the guide groove 33A in positions to open the opening part P. A protrusion 34 for regulating the swing of the arm body 12, such that the engaging pin 17 comes off from the opening Q1, is detachably provided on the guide frame 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
