The invention relates to a couch (1, 1') for the remedial therapeutic treatment of vertebral complaints of individuals. Said couch is configured to be pivoted from a horizontal position into an oblique position. The couch comprises a frame (2) with attached support elements (7, 8), which are used to determine the distance of the couch surface from the installation plane. The support elements (7, 8) are in point-type contact (11, 12) with the installation plane (9). The length of the first support element (7), which is situated on the first narrow side (3), can be varied and the support element (8) that is situated on the second narrow side (4) essentially forms a fulcrum or an axis (11) for the pivoting motion of the couch (1, 1'). |
