A drafting arrangement has a pair of output rollers (4) composed of a bottom roller (41) and of a delivery pressure roller (42) in contact along a delivery clamping line (43). In order to carry away unbonded fibres by aspiration, in particular in the event of thread breakage, the drafting arrangement is equipped with a fibre aspiration system (6) with an aspiration opening (61) which is arranged after the pair of outlet rollers (4) in the proximity of a transport path for the thread (G). The distance between the tangent drawn at the delivering clamping line (43) on the delivery pressure roller (42) and the aspiration opening (61) is smaller than the distance between the transport path for the thread (G) and the aspiration opening (61).
