The hand trolley comprises a chassis (3) with wheels (4) attached, braces (6) detachably fastened to the corners of the chassis and each provided with a pair of slots (63), and a number of side plates (7), the opposite ends of each of which extend in an adjacent pair of slots of an adjacent pair of braces. A tubular sleeve (32) is fastened in each corner of the chassis, and each brace has an insertion rod (61) which fits in the corresponding sleeve for the fastening of the brace to the corner of the chassis.
