<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bowling ball with a decoration which can demonstrate a favorable decorative property over a long period, and in addition, which is easy of the manufacture even when a complicated decoration is applied, and also, which can be manufactured at a low cost, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A spherical resin sheet 38 for transfer and a bowling ball 13 of which the surface has a permeability of sublimation ink are fitted in the cavity of a die 51 comprising the shape of a part of a spherical surface. In this case, the spherical resin sheet for transfer has a transfer section 41 which is printed by using a sublimation ink on the internal surface of the spherical resin sheet being shaped into the shape of a part of the spherical surface. Then, the surface of the bowling ball is brought into contact with the transfer section 41 of the spherical surface resin sheet 38 for transfer, and the die 51 is heated. Thus, the transfer section 41 comprising the sublimation ink of the spherical surface resin sheet 38 for transfer is made to permeate into the surface of the bowling ball 13 and transferred.
