<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication performance evaluation device facilitating measurement of communication performance of an on-vehicle device by providing a pseudo roadside device capable of generating the same communication signal as a roadside device for toll road. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises the on-vehicle device 9 mounted on a vehicle and transmitting vehicle-side information to a roadside device provided at a gateway of a toll road; a receiver 11 mounted on the vehicle for receiving a communication signal transmitted from the roadside device 5 in response to the vehicle-side information from the on-vehicle device 9; recorders 14/29 recording waveforms of data received by the receiver 11; a reading means 22 provided on a pseudo roadside apparatus 20 and reading data recorded by the recorder 14/29; a reproduction part 31 capable of modulating and transmitting data read by the reading means 22, and provided on the pseudo roadside apparatus 20; and an error ratio measuring apparatus 32 transmitting the data transmitted from the reproduction part 31 to a test on-vehicle device 33, comparing the data received by the on-vehicle device 33 with data actually received from this roadside device by the on-vehicle device 9 mounted on the vehicle, and outputting the result as an error ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
