PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform voice recognition with an event other than an explicit voice recognition instruction, such as image upload event, as a trigger in an image retrieval system, by subjecting voice information added to an image to voice recognition. SOLUTION: The voice information to be added to the image is acquired, and the event is detected. Even when the detected event is not the explicit voice recognition instructing event, the voice information acquired for the specific event is subjected to voice recognition.
