PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the inspecting device and the inspection method of a bone conduction microphone capable of accurately evaluating the performance of the bone conduction microphone. SOLUTION: The inspecting device of the bone conduction microphone is the inspecting device 1 for inspecting the bone conduction microphone 15, and comprises a shaker 12 for applying vibration to the bone conduction microphone 15; and control equipment 14 that detects the output signal of the bone conduction microphone 15 to which the vibration is applied by the shaker 12, and determines the frequency characteristics of the bone conduction microphone 15, based on the detected output signal. Further, the control equipment 14 can determine the electric characteristics of the bone conduction microphone 15 based on the output signal, where no vibration has been applied to the bone conduction microphone 15.
