PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizer having a structure for preventing a shift lock in an unconnected type multi-synchronous synchronizer. SOLUTION: This synchronizer has a shaft 1, a clutch hub 3 fixed on the shaft 1, a gear 2 loosely fitted on the shaft 1, a hub sleeve 5 for engaging in the rotational direction with the clutch hub 3, displaced in the shaft direction of a shaft 1 and releasably connecting the clutch hub 3 and the gear 2, an outer ring 6, a middle ring 7 and an inner ring 8 arranged on the shaft 1 between the clutch hub 3 and the gear 2 and constituting a tapered cone clutch. The inner ring 8 is integrally rotatably connected with clearance in the peripheral direction to the clutch hub 3 side via a projection 8b. The middle ring 7 is integrally rotatably connected with clearance in the peripheral direction to the gear 2 side via a claw 7b, and has a means for regulating relative rotation of both 6 and 8 between the outer ring 6 and the inner ring 8. This regulating means has a claw groove 8c formed in the inner ring 8, and a claw 6b formed in the outer ring 6 and inserted into the claw groove 8c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
