PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart both characteristics of smoothness and powerfullness to acceleration by first lowering the acceleration relative to the depression of an accelerator pedal and, as the acceleration advances, increasing the acceleration with increasing speed in an internal combustion engine for vehicle. SOLUTION: This supercharging device of the internal combustion engine for the vehicle comprises a compressor pressurizing an intake air and a bypass control valve controlling the amount of the intake air flowing bypassing the compressor. An operation mode to gradually reduce the opening of the bypass control valve in a transition when the internal combustion engine is accelerated is given to the supercharging device of the internal combustion engine for the vehicle.
