PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet bowl flushing device which suitably controls power output to an electrolytic cell and power output to a capacitor means while making effective use of limited electric power obtained by a power generating means. SOLUTION: The toilet bowl flushing device is formed of the power generating means for generating electric power by a current of flushing water; the capacitor section for storing therein the electric power generated by the power generating means; a control section operable by the electric power fed from the capacitor section; the electrolytic cell having a pair of electrodes kept immersed in the flushing water, for carrying electric power generated by the power generating means in an interval between the electrodes, to thereby adding sterilizing components into the flushing water; and a switching section for outputting the electric power generated by the power generating means to one or both of the capacitor section and the electrolytic cell.
