PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the supporting structure of a pasting machine, which is equipped with enough locking mechanisms, which retains a straddling state and a storing state respectively as it is, and, in addition, these locking states can be released through the same action. SOLUTION: In the supporting structure of a wallpaper pasting machine equipped with a pedestal part for seating the main body part of the pasting machine, leg parts arranged below both the right and left ends of the pedestal part in order to support the main body part of the pasting machine at a predetermined height and leg part pivoting means, which connect pivotally towards opposingly right and left around respecting pivoting axes between the storing state, in which both the right and left leg parts are folded to the rear surface side of the pedestal part, and the straddling state, in which both the right and left leg parts are stood hangingly from the rear surface side of the pedestal part with the lower part of the pedestal part, the pasting machine is equipped with one stopper, in which the leg part pivoting means latches with the leg part so as to check the pivoting of the leg part, a stopper guide, which makes the stopper actable only between a latching position, in which the stopper latches with the leg part so as to check the pivoting of the leg part, and a releasing position, in which the stopper does not engage with the leg part, an energizing means for energizing the stopper to the latching position, a first part to be latched, in which the leg part is latched with the stopper in the storing state and a second part to be latched, in which the leg part is latched with the stopper in the straddling state.
