PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding which satisfies the four requirements of nail extraction resistance, heat resistance, mechanical strength, and water resistance simultaneously. SOLUTION: In the molding 1, wood pieces are dispersed/solidified in an inorganic filler containing a small amount of a synthetic resin binder to form a core layer 2, and the surface and back layers 3 and 4 of the core layer 2 are reinforced with strand-like inorganic fibers.
