PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for forming a corrugated steel sheet by which productivity is improved. SOLUTION: A second press 4, a first press 3 and a fixing means 2 are arranged in this order from the upstream side in the feed direction of a steel sheet W for forming, and one slope S1 of one pitch of a corrugated part is press-formed by the first press 3 in the state where the steel sheet W for forming is fixed so as to be not moved with a releasable fixing means 2, and then another slope S2 of the one pitch of the corrugated part is press-formed by the second press 4 without opening the first press 3, the pull-in of the steel sheet W, which is caused when the one pitch of the corrugated part is press-formed, is limited in the feed direction of the steel sheet W and the corrugated part which is press-formed in the preceding stage is prevented from being pulled in in the direction of the press.
