<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic lamp having a light part electrically operated for illumination so as to relatively simplify an electric path and to manufacture it at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This lamp 10 includes a base assembly 12, a light assembly 16 and a globe assembly 14. The globe assembly 14 is telescopically movable, relative to the base assembly 12, from a collapsed OFF position to an extended ON position. The base assembly 12 includes a housing having an upper platform 28 and a pair of electric connection parts 44 and 46 , and the electric connection parts 44 and 46 are connected to a power supply part within the base assembly 12.
