<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor unit that is long in motor service life, easy in maintenance, reduced in noise during operation, high in the reliability of the operation, furthermore, simple in constitution and reduced in the number of part items, allows motor rotation to be switched to forward rotation and reverse rotation according to the switching of the feed polarity of a DC power supply, and is suitable for the opening, closing and the like of an electric concealment door mirror. <P>SOLUTION: The motor unit comprises: DC power receiving terminals 6a, 6b in each of which the positive pole and the negative pole of a DC power supply 4 are mutually reversely switched and connected in association with a forward command and a reverse command in the rotative direction of a brushless DC motor 7; a reference potential terminal 6g connected to a reference potential pole; and a drive circuit 9 that drives the motor 7 so as to feed power thereto in the rotative direction discriminated form the change of a level of a detection terminal 9r in the rotative direction connected to either of terminals 6a, 6b. Backflow prevention diodes 10a, 10b that form current-carrying passages of the DC power supply are arranged between the terminals 6a, 6b and a power supply terminal 9p of the drive circuit 9, respectively, and a grounding terminal 9g of the drive circuit 9 is connected to the terminal 6g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
