<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphic recognition program capable of exactly recognizing a graph having a complicated shape. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor executing the graphic recognition program detects in time series a locus drawn on an input face as a coordinate point. The coordinate point for indicating the locus is selected from a coordinate point group formed by arranging in the time series each detected coordinate point. An information processor calculates the length of each line segment formed by connecting the each selected coordinate point in time series order, and also calculates the absolute angle or the relative angle of the line segment on an each line segment basis. In a graphic identification step, the locus graph of an orthogonal coordinate system using as a second axis the angle of the line segment which uses the coordinate point selected by assigning distance on a line as a first axis as a basic point is compared with a reference graph representing a reference graph in the orthogonal coordinate system. As a result of comparison, the reference graph represented by the reference graph having the most approximation to the locus graph is identified as the shape of the locus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
