PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of efficiently selecting a still picture to be outputted from moving picture data photographed in the same scene. SOLUTION: A digital camera 100 includes: a moving picture data storage section 122 for storing moving picture data obtained by photographing an object; an image data classification processing section 108 for grouping the moving picture data stored in the moving picture data storage section 122 by each of the moving picture data obtained by photographing the same scene; and a still picture data selection section 110 for selecting still picture data to be outputted among the moving picture data grouped by the classification processing section 108.
