PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covered cable in which the type and size of the covered cable can be easily distinguished, a colored portion is not easily erased even if rubbed by a hand or the like, and which can be applied to a non-halogen covered cable, can satisfy high cable characteristics, and can be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: The covered cable comprises a conductor and a covering layer for covering the outer circumference of the conductor. The covering layer is composed of an inner layer for covering the conductor and an outer layer which is formed on the outer circumference of the inner layer excluding a stripe-shape portion of long narrow shape along the longitudinal direction of the conductor, and different colors are applied on the inner layer and the outer layer.
