PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a communication connection mode corresponding to a request concerning communication profit or loss of a user while taking into account of variation in communication environment. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus 10 comprises a section 14b for predicting communication loss in communication connection mode capable of connecting communication at current moment in time and in the future based on communication factors having an effect on communication profit or loss (e.g. communication rate, waiting time, the time required for communication processing, the time required for completion of communication, safety and certainty of communication) when communication processing is executed by selecting the communication connection mode capable of connecting communication at current moment in time and in the future, and a section 14c for presenting communication profit or loss in the communication connection mode capable of connecting communication at current moment in time and in the future predicted at the communication profit or loss predicting section 14b.
