PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of suppressing lowering of image quality and deterioration in the output characteristic even when the thickness of a wafer of a solid-state imaging element is made thin. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus provided with: at least a single stage of output circuit; and a final stage buffer circuit for applying impedance conversion to the output signal of a final stage of the output circuit and processing a luminance signal outputted from a plurality of light receiving elements to output image information, the final stage of the output circuit is a source follower circuit, the current source circuit 5 of the source follower circuit and the final stage buffer circuit 6 are formed outside the solid-state imaging element 1 forming a plurality of the light receiving elements and at least the principal part of the current source circuit 5 and the principal part of the final stage buffer circuit 6 are formed in one package.
