PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a management method of copyright protection information capable of moving copy-once content that is recorded in a recording medium for storage and is subjected to copyright management into the recording medium for storage, and then writing the content into the recording medium for storage again while maintaining the continuity of the content. SOLUTION: In the management method of copyright protection information, the content that includes sound and moving images and is recorded in the recording medium 15 for storage is moved to the recording medium 21 for terminals, and then the content is written in the recording medium 15 for storage again. When the content is moved to the recording medium for terminals, a virtual file that is larger than the content is formed in the recording medium 15 for storage, and the content is overwritten in a recording region for recording when the content is written again, thus maintaining the continuity of the content written again.
