PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery system for a vehicle enabling the proper selection of components such as a working fluid, a lubricating oil, and a condenser for each of a refrigerating cycle and a Rankine cycle. SOLUTION: The refrigerating cycle 1 comprises a compressor 2, the condenser 3, an expansion valve 4, and an evaporator 5. The compressor 2 is driven by the power of an engine 7 through a transmission belt 6 to circulate a carbon dioxide in the refrigerating cycle 1. In the Rankine cycle 10, a pump 11, a boiler 12, an expander 13, and a condenser 14 are installed to circulate a propane therein. The expander 13 is driven by the propane sucked therein. The expander 13 is connected to a generator 15 so that the generator 15 can be driven by a power generated by the driving of the expander.
