PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of a vehicle and safety by regulating swing of a suspension device properly. SOLUTION: This cargo handling vehicle is provided with a running speed detection means for detecting running speed of the vehicle, an angular velocity detection means for detecting turning angular velocity of the vehicle, an angular acceleration leading-through means for leading through turning angular acceleration by differentiating turning angular velocity by time, a lateral acceleration leading-through means for leading through lateral acceleration by multiplying running speed by turning angular velocity and compensating the result of multiplication based on the turning angular acceleration, a comparison means for comparing lateral acceleration with a threshold value set in advance, and a control means for controlling to switch a swing regulation device to any of an operation condition for regulating swing of the suspension device and a non-operation condition for releasing regulation in accordance with the result of comparison of the comparison means. The control means switches the swing regulation device to the operation condition when lateral acceleration is larger than the threshold value and the non-operation condition when lateral acceleration is smaller than the threshold value.
