PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can lid making beverage such as beer or the like drinkable while keeping its delicious state and making a can easily open. SOLUTION: A can lid is a lid placed at the top surface 3 of a can where beverage such as beer or the like is filled in a main body 2. The can lid is formed at a central region of the top surface 3 with a step 5a formed lower than the periphery of the top surface 3. There are provided an opening forming region 5 having an arcuate outer periphery 5b placed near the outer circumferential boundary of the top surface, an opening small piece 8 having the vicinity of the tip side pivoted by a pivoting part 6 at the central position in the opening forming region 5 and having a finger engagement hole 7 formed at the rear end, a finger engagement hole 9 formed at a position corresponding to the rear end of the small piece 8 at the opening forming region 5, and an opening 4 having its pivoting part 6 applied as its base end 4a near the projecting end of the small piece 8, expanded toward the outer circumference in a range of about 90°to 180°angles and having an arcuate outer circumference 4b placed near the outer circumferential interface of the opening forming region 5.
