<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen determination device and a screen determination method for accurately obtaining a determination result, and for making visual observation unnecessary, and for reducing labor. <P>SOLUTION: Reference screen pick up images 26 and 31 represented by reference screen imaging data 21 are decomposed into image portions 27 and 32 configuring at least a portion of the reference screen picked up images 26 and 31, and image partial data 27a and 27b representing the image parts 27 and 32 are generated by an image partial data generating means 15. An expected image 42 is prepared by using one or more image portions 27 and 32 expressed by the image partial data 27a and 27b by an expected image data generating means 16, and expected image data are generated.
