PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home electric appliance information communication system that can cover new machine types to be developed in future and eliminates loads of the development of an electrical home appliance and the development of a home server.

SOLUTION: This home electric appliance information communication system is equipped with a home electric appliance 150 which can be connected to the Internet 10 wirelessly or wiredly and gives notice of state change in a home network 30 in such a case, a home server 120 which is installed on the home network 30 together with the home electric appliance and receives and transmits information automatically reported from the home electric appliance through the Internet, and an information server 400 which is connected to the Internet and receives the notice from the home server, and the home server 120 inquires the version of the latest application of the information server and updates its own application by downloading differences to always hold the latest application.
