<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide the situation of radio interference to a terminal device during communication between an AP in a wireless LAN and an STA utilizing the AP. <P>SOLUTION: The STA 23 which communicates with an access point, comprises an FCS error detection section 12 for detecting error on hardware 11 for all packet data of received data and a CRC error detection section 15 for extracting data destined to a present device from the reception data using a MAC filter 14 and detecting error on software 13 again for the data. An SME 16 compares error values detected in the two error detections with each other, detects radio interference of interference radio waves from the result of the comparison, indicates the state of radio interference via a utility 17 and instructs switching of a channel in use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
