<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve safety by preventing the ejection lever of an ejection mechanism from protruding outward even if it is pushed by a mistake when a card is not mounted, so that its ejection button is prevented from breaking or colliding, as to a card connector with an ejection locking mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In this card connector 1 with the ejection locking mechanism, the ejection lever 24 is fixed in a circulation type cam groove 3 because it can not move to a forward path and a return path at an ejection locking position existing halfway between the forward path and the return path, when an ejector 4 is moved to a card mounting position, the guide part 4c of the ejector appears in the vicinity of the ejection locking position, a part of the ejection lever is engaged with the appeared guide part 4c so that the lever is guided, and if the ejection lever is pushed toward the back of a connector housing 21, it can move to the return path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
