PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a permanent magnet motor which can greatly reduce a minute vibration and can improve manufacturing efficiency without taking a time in assembling work. SOLUTION: A core is divided into an outer core 3 and an inner core 4, and a shock absorbing material 5 is interposed between the outer core 3 and the inner core 4. The outer core 3 and the inner core 4 are constituted by stacking a plurality of sheets of thin core constituting plates 7 and 8. To connect the outer core 3 with the inner core 4 at both ends in the axial direction of a rotor shaft 6, it will do to arrange a plurality of sheets of thin core constituting plates 9 where peripheries 9a and internal perimeters 9b are coupled with each other via junctions 9c at both ends in the axial direction of the rotor shaft 6 of the core composed of the outer core 3 and the inner core 4.
