PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user understand impact of changing made to image capturing parameters, such as expose or contrast setting. SOLUTION: It determines a photosensor 108, configured so that light from an object may be detected, and setting of a picture taking parameter. It determines histogram from information received from a photosensor 108. It provide a system which directs setting of the picture taking device, which has a processor 110 configured so that at least one set point 206, 306 is determined, a display configured so that a histogram 204, 304 and set point 206, 306 received from the processor 110 may be displayed, and at least one controller which makes so that histogram 204, 304 and the set point 206, 306 are adjusted so that it may correspond to the adjusted picture taking parameter, constituting so that the picture taking parameter may be adjusted, and the adjusted histogram 204, 304 and the adjusted set point 206, 306 are displayed on the display.
