PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a molten salt tank provided in a waste treatment apparatus and to improve the workability when the inside surface of the molten salt tank is coated. SOLUTION: This waste treatment apparatus 10 is used for detoxifying CCl2F2(chlorofluorocarbon 12) by bringing CCl2F2into contact with a solution A of 100% NaOH in the molten salt tank 12. At least the inside surface of the molten salt tank 12 is covered with a coating film of a thermal-sprayed coating layer 13 to be formed by thermal-spraying corrosion-resistant Ni power.
