PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for keeping maintenance time constant for the same component without influence from measurement conditions such as quality (deterioration etc.), length (cutout etc.) of a column in a gas chromatograph device. SOLUTION: The linear speed of a carrier gas is determined in the measurement after the change in the above-mentioned conditions such that the maintenance time regarding a component predetermined before a change in the above-mentioned conditions of the column and that regarding the component after the change in the above-mentioned conditions are identical. During the measurement, the linear speed is maintained. Thus, the measurement result with identical maintenance times before and after the change in the conditions of the column can be obtained.
