PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a panel shutter which enables a panel to be held without the need for screwing, which enhances assembling workability by reducing the number of components, which can prevent the panels from coming into contact with one another in a fully-closed position of the shutter, and which can prevents damage to the panel and the like from being caused by the contact. SOLUTION: This panel shutter is equipped with the plurality of panels 3 which ascends/descends between a pair of right and left guide rails 1, and storage rails 13 and 14 which hold the panel 3, ascending between the guide rails 1 and passing between sprockets 8 and 9, in a suspended state and house it. Panel holding frames 4 are each fitted into both the sides of each panel 3, so that both of them can elastically be integrated together by means of an adhesive 50, and coupled to panel coupling chains 11 and 12. In the full closing of the panel 3 descending between the guide rails 1, the respective panel holding frames 4 for the panel 3 vertically abut on each other, so that the respective panels cannot be brought into noncontact with one another.
