PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying handle string in which a fitting strength can be improved by ensuring an enough fitting length, and which is equipped with a binding means being hardly detached under an ordinary condition even though it is easily fitted and detached at the time of operation. SOLUTION: The carrying handle strings, fitted on an opening part by a pair of the strings, are equipped with the binding means having a longitudinal crosssectional shape with an approximately U shape. These strings have the same direction before these strings are mounted under a straight line condition, but when they face the binding means of the opposite carrying handle string after they are mounted to the bag, they are provided at a positional relation that they are rotated by 90°so as to mutually fit, and furthermore, a fitting structure so as to be hardly detached when they are mutually fitted.
