PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of effectively suppressing leakage of air from rim fitting. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 has a pair of bead parts 2 and is rim-assembled by fitting the bead parts 2 to a rim 4. In the pneumatic tire 1, the bead part 2 has a fitting layer 3 on a fitting surface to the rim 4 and the fitting layer 3 comprises a thermoplastic resin containing a rubber composition. It is interposed between the bead part 2 and the rim 4 in the tire rim-assembling state to seal a gap of the fitting parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
