PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which can significantly improves the cleaning performance, cleans cooking stains which conventionally could not be cleaned and shows great cleaning performance against sticky stains such as a lipstick. SOLUTION: The dishwasher is structured so as to supply water used in a cleaning process to the interior of a cleaning tub 2 to store dishes 9 by a water supply valve 3, heat cleaning water by a heater 10, and apply a particulates detergent mist to cleaned objects by a detergent scattering means 14. By controlling the driving of at least either a mist generation means 14 or a heater 10 by a temperature sensing means 22 in a pretreatment process where the particulates detergent mist is attached to dishes 9, the dishwasher significantly improves its cleaning performance.
