PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete structure capable of suppressing eutrophication due to the elution of an excessive amount of nutrients, and capable of continuously releasing nutrients required for a long time by sustained release. SOLUTION: The concrete structure mixed with a porous powder carrying a nutrient component essential for algal plants forming a seaweed bed, and microorganisms growing on river and lake revetment, is provided. The porous powder having characteristics of slow nutrient release rate of continuously supplying only minimum requirement to plants and microorganisms is used. The porous powder may be artificial zeolite and nutrients are composited with the artificial zeolite. The nutrients contain iron as the essential ingredient and may contain one or plural components of silicon, phosphorus, copper, zinc, manganese and cobalt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
