The invention relates to a mixture of polymers for a strand-like product, such as for example, for an electrical cable, should be halogen-free, flame resistant and largely oil-resistant. The mixture hence contains at least one thermoplastic olefin elastomer, for example a polypropylene/XEPDM mixture and a graft polyolefin as compatibiliser or adhesive. Said mixture can thus be simply and economically produced with the requisite properties.
