A feeder capable of meeting the requirements for positioning accuracy, long-distance transportation, remote transportation, controllability, precise feeding, high speed feeding, low price, simplified structure, space-saving, reduction in weight, measure against dusting, safety measure against accident so as to be supplied for multiple applications. The feeder comprises a normal winder (21), a reverse winder (31), a linear body (51) for normal winding, a linear body (61) for reverse winding, and a reciprocating body (71). The linear body for normal winding and the linear body for reverse winding are connected to the reciprocating body. The normal winder in rotating for taking-in and the reverse winder in rotating for letting-out are rotated in the same or the reverse direction in synchronism and phase with each other. The taken-in amount of the linear body by the normal winder is equal to the let-out amount of the linear body for reverse winding by the reverse winder. The let-out amount of the linear body for normal winding by the normal winder is equal to the taken-in amount of the linear body for reverse winding by the reverse winder. |
