<p>To form a long press gap between a shoe press roller and a counter roller, to process a paper web passing between them, the rollers are mounted on brackets with their axes on a press plane (E) with release links to hold their brackets (7,10) together. The release links (12) are connecting straps (13), with movement in the grooves (14) of one bracket (10) along the connecting line (V), between a locked and a release position. Each strap has an elongated hole (15), parallel to the movement direction to take inserted bolts (16,17) at each bracket, symmetrical to the press force plane, to engage the force grip surfaces (18,19) at each elongated hole.</p> |
