Data to be transferred is converted in an exchange interface (EI) (5) so as to communicate between first (9) and second (1) bus systems (BS). Lines in the first BS supply voltage to a voltage supply device for the second BS. To achieve this, there is a voltage/data-separating component (7) between the first BS and the EI.
