Illumination device with light mixer for homogenisation of radiation distributions

The mechanism has a light mixer (10) which has the shape of a rhombus, and has a beam splitter arranged between two prisms (12,14) parallel to Z-axis (OA). The beam splitter has two monolayers with different refractive indices. The beam splitter reflects a part of the incident light while the other part is transmitted to obtain a good mixture of the two light bundles. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Light mixer; and (B) Projection lighting instrument.
