Shaping of macrocyclic oligoesters

There is disclosed a process for shaping a macrocyclic oligoester, the process comprising the steps of (a) providing a solution comprising macrocyclic oligoester and a solvent, the macrocyclic oligoester comprising a structural repeat unit of formula (I):
wherein R is an alkylene, a cycloalkylene, or a mono- or polyoxyalkylene group and A is a divalent aromatic or alicyclic group; (b) removing the solvent; and (c) shaping the macrocyclic oligoester. There is also disclosed a process for pelletizing a macrocyclic oligoester and a pastillation process
