Mounting platform for utility meter

A method for mounting an electric current meter, e.g. a consumer meter, has a adaptor plate (1) which fits onto an existing mounting and with slots (4) and other fittings to accommodate the meter. The fitting allows the meter to be moved between an operating position and a parked, non operating position. The two positions can be secured by security seals to prevent unauthorised operation.
