1,068,467. Feet for stands. AKUSTISCHE U KINO. GERATE G.m.b.H. June 14, 1965 [July 8, 1964], No. 24993/65. Heading A4U. A resilient foot, especially for fitment to the leg of a microphone stand, comprises a slender solid of revolution with a free lower end formed with an axial bore and an upper end portion which is sufficiently rigid to prevent buckling and which is attachable to a support leg. In one embodiment (Fig. 1) the foot comprises frusto-conical upper and lower ends each having an axial blind bore (2, 4) one of which receives a leg (1). The bores (2, 4) may be of different diameter and/or length. The other bore (4) may accommodate a plug (11) (Fig. 6) of material which is softer than the foot material. The lower base (6) (Fig. 2) may be conical, the foot having a cylindrical outer surface. The generatrix of the surface of revolution may be stepped . (Figs. 3, 4) or curved (Fig. 5). The outer surface of the foot may be longitudinally ribbed (Fig. 7). In another embodiment (Fig. 8) the upper end comprises a cylindrical plug (14) which fits within a tubular leg (16), the latter seating in an annular recess defined by an annular flange (17). In a further embodiment (Fig. 9) two or more lower end portions (19, 20) may extend angularly from a leg engaging portion (18). |
