A sheet-metal cage for cylindrical rollers comprises a cylindrical sleeve having radially inwardly directed rims (1, 2) at both ends and apertures (4) for the rollers so that two sides of each aperture are bounded by axially extending bars (3), and inwardly directed flanges (6) integral with the bars extending the length of the aperture. The length of the aperture is such that the roller ends abut either the rims or rings (7) between the rims and rollers. The rings (7) are of wear-resistant and/or low-friction material. The flanges (6) may be shaped to the adjacent roller, and two rollers may be situated in each aperture.</p> |
