The method involves drilling a hole in a wooden structure to be reinforced and screwing a connection unit in the hole, where the structure is in the form of a girder (1). Recesses (7) are formed in a stiffening girder (2), the girder (2) is fixed on the structure, and resin is injected in the recesses. The connection unit is constituted of a connector (3) in the shape of a screw or lag screw. An independent claim is also included for a wooden structure reinforcement and/or restitution device.
