PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker for obtaining suitable acoustic characteristics. SOLUTION: The speaker 1 comprises a speaker unit 3, a case 4 and a vibration absorber 5. The case 4 has an outer case 20 for housing the speaker unit 3. The outer case 20 has a bottom plate 25 and a tube 26 erecting from the outer edge of the bottom plate 25 to form a bottom-closed tubular shape.
